I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />FINANCING DISTRICT NO. <br />DISTRICT NO. 1. <br /> <br />THE DECERTIFICATION OF TAX INCREMENT <br /> 5 LOCATED IN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No.5 officially received its' last tax <br />increment in year ending 1999; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, any Tax Increment Financing District is required to submit a formal <br />resolution to the State and County Auditor stating that the district has been deeertified and state <br />that all tax increment has been spent, or any excess will be returned to the County to be <br />redistributed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District//5, at year-end 1999, did not contain any <br />excess tax increment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 2000 will be the final year that a Tax Increment Financing Authority and <br />Municipality Report will be submitted to the State Auditors Office pertaining to Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 5; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No. 5, after December 31, 2000, will no <br />longer be required to submit TIF Authority and Municipality Reports to the State Auditors office <br />as the conditions of the district having been decertified and all tax increment from the district <br />having been spent meet the conditions of no longer requiring a report to be submitted; and. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 is the City of Ramsey's second <br />decertified district within its two Municipal Development Districts. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the decertification of the City of <br />Ramsey's Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 located in Municipal Development <br />District No. 1. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voi~d in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 4~ day of April, 2000. <br /> <br /> <br />
