Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-04-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT MCDUFF'S EATERY AND PUB IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at McDuff's Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution s. pec. ifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the Ramsey Lions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at McDuff's Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey. 2) That the Ramsey City Counci'i agrees to waive the 30-day notice prevision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 4th day of April, 2000.
