To: The City of Ramsey <br /> <br />From: Ben J Deemer <br /> <br />Subj' Charter Cormnission vacancy <br /> <br />I wish to be considered for appointment to the Charter Commission. <br /> <br />I believe that My 20 Years of service to the City as a Planning Commissioner have <br />prepared me very well for serving on the Charter Commission... <br /> <br />I have been a resident since 1975, and active member of various sports groups, <br />including founding the RYAA, and the construction of the Anoka Area Ice Arena, <br />first fink... <br /> <br />I am a motivated person, and over the years, as a Planning ICommissioner, have <br />learned to hear what is being said, and attempt to find a solution, or workable <br />compromise .... <br /> <br />I was Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Co-Chair of the Planning <br />Commission, and Acting Chairperson of Planning Commiassion the last 6 months <br />of my term... <br /> <br />I believe that I could faithfully fulfill the position for the 2 - 4 year terms that are <br />allowed. <br /> <br />As a Planning Commissioner, in 20 years I had a nearly perfect attendance, <br />missing only 1 regular meeting, Apr. 1979 (vacation notice of which was given <br />when I was appointed in Dec. 78), and one Special Meeting, called when I was out <br />of town. <br /> <br />~x~u for taking the time to consider this application <br />Ben J'Deemer <br /> <br /> <br />
