The Planing Commission reviewed and recommended approval of the Office/Truck Terminal site plan on March 6, 2000. The ACE Solid Waste proposed site plan consists of two parts, the Office/Truck Terminal and the Transfer Station. The 'City Council tabled the Office/Track Terminal site plan case on March 28, 2000 until the Conditional Use Permit and site plan for the Transfer Station could be brought to the City Council as one package with the site ptan for the Office/Truck Terminal. Subsequent to the March City Council meeting the Planning Commission, on April 10, 2000, reviewed the Conditional Use Permit application for the Transfer Station and provided a recommendation of denial to the City Council. Due to the negative recommendation,, the Planning Commissior~ did not review the proposed site plan for the Transfer Station. If the City Council recommends approval on the Conditional Use Permit, then a recommendation fi.om the Planning Commission for the Transfer Station site plan would be appropriate. The site plan for the Transfer Station can be placed on the May Planning agenda and be brought back to the City Council on May 9, 2000. Recommendation: The Planning Commission recommended site plan approval for the Office/Truck Terminal contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated March 2, 2000. Council Action: Motion to grant site plan approval to ACE Solid Waste for the Office/Truck Terminal contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated March 2, 2000.
