On March 28, the developer attended a City Council Work session to obtain their input to the <br />street layout options prior to going back to the Plarming Commission. The Council discussion <br />also focused on the density and the developer was asked to attend the next CounciI work session <br />to resume discussion of density and street configuration. <br /> <br />On April 4, the Planning Commission reviewed the four proposed street layouts and had selected <br />the option of the development consisting of all private streets, with the exception of a cul-de-sac <br />feeding off of Dysprosium Street. <br /> <br />During the March 6 and March 20 Planning Commission meeting, several residents spoke during <br />the public hearings pertaining to the rezoning and proposed development. The concerns mostly <br />stemmed from traffic safety and street layout. The present street configuration appears to satisfy <br />the Flintwood neighborhood's concerns regarding traffic volume. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff and the Planning Commission recommend approval on the rezoning of B 1 and B2 to a <br />Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt resolution #00-04-__ adopting Findings of Fact #05__ relating to a request to <br />rezone the proposed plat of Mallard Ponds from B-1 and B-2 Business to Planned Unit <br />Development. <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #05__ approving the request to rezone the proposed plat of <br />Mallard Ponds from B-1 and B-2 Business to Planned Unit Development, based on the findings <br />of facts #05 <br /> <br />-or- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council deny the' request for rezoning from B-I and B-2 <br />Business to PUD Planned Unit Development, based on the findings of facts #05__ <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Community Development Director <br />community Development Assistant <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />176 <br /> <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
