Commissioner Kociscak inquired as to what the purpose of constructing a cul-de-sac at the <br />entrance of the development would be. <br /> <br />Ivkr. Bulow replied that the cul-de-sac at the entrance would eliminate the access point on Barium <br />Street and then make the entire development private roads. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the plan that has been suggested, changing ali of streets to a <br />private road, has not been propo's6d to staff and he would like to have other staff opinion before a <br />decision would be made. <br /> <br />Mr. Bulow responded in regards to having the right-in right-out access from C.R, #1t6. He <br />explained that he prefers to keep the townhome development and the apartment complex as <br />separate as possible. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dempsey inquired when is the proposed, improvements are suppose, to occur on <br />C.R. #116. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that a median and stoplights are proposed to be constructed at <br />the intersection Dysprosi .urn Street and C.R. #116 in 2003. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson stated that he would support'the development if there is a way to keep - <br />traffic from the new development out of the existing neighborhood. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson Iefi'at.9:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson questioned why some of the streets are designated as private drives and <br />6thers public streets, and would it be a problem to make the entire site a public roads, and ho <br />wide is a paved portion of a public street. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that a public street is '3 0 feet and a private street is 24 feet.
