CASE # <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR CITY CODE CHAPTER 9 REWRITE <br /> By: Sylvia Frolik, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Earlier this year the City Council reallocated $45,000.00 of 1998 Community Development <br />Block Grant funds for the purpose of amending Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and <br />Subdivision of Land).to establish regulations and controls that will implement the new <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />That request for reallocation of funds will be considered by the Anoka County Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Board on Tuesday, April 25 for approval. This is a very high <br />priority task and Staff is hopeful that the reallocation will be approved and we may begin <br />expending those funds as soon as possible. <br /> <br />If the County approves the project, Staff is requesting Council approval to send out Request for <br />Proposals (RFP's) for the Chapter 9 rewrite. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends City Council approval of the RFP and authorization to distribute it to the <br />attached list of consultants.
