CITY OF RAt','ISEY <br /> 2000-2004 <br /> <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />PROJECT TITLE: 1491h Avenue along Trunk Highway #47 <br />PROJECT TYPE: Storm Water Utility Improvements <br />PROJECT YEAR: 2000 <br />TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $192,000 <br /> <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION <br />IlThis project will entail the construction of approximately 2,400 feet of 15' and 18" storm pipe, <br /> land will require installation in, and restoration of, 149th Avenue from Trunk Highway #47 to <br /> <br />PROJECT <br />Start Date <br /> <br />'ROJECT JUSTIFICATION <br /> <br /> wetland complex in the area of 1491h Avenue along Trunk Highway #47 receives drainage fi.om the developing <br />area bounded by 153rd Avenue on the north, County Road #5 on the west, and Lord of Life Church on lhe south. <br />Wetland 658W, which is located on the west side of the l~ighway, accepts drainage from the developing area north to <br />153rd Avenue and west to County Road #5, and presently has no outlet. In addition, the wetland system on the east side <br />of Trunk Highway #47, which primarily includes Wetland 659W has an emergency overflow which does not adequately <br />handle the bounce on this wetla'nd system to prevent flooding.
