CASE <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />1 <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00-27 <br />B & B CARPET SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />B & B Carpet is devcloping a facility on Highway #10 on the site of the former Lighthouse Bar. <br />The new facility will require sewer and water, which will need to be extended through the <br />Overhead Garage Door property immediately to the south. B & B Carpet and Overhead Garage <br />Door have negoliated an agreement between themselves on issues affecting the financing of this <br />utility extension. B & B Carpet has requested that the City install these utilities as a public <br />improvement project assessed over a ten-year period. <br /> <br />A public improvement project requires a public hearing, which is scheduled for this evening. B <br />& B Carpet and Overhead Garage Door are the only two properties benefited from this utility <br />extensiou and both will be signing waivers to the sixty day period commencing at the close of <br />lhe public hearing, which allows for petitions against the project.
