I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-05- RESOLUTION APPROVING 3m~ PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-63 (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN ALONG SUNFISH LAKE BOULEVARD) WHEREAS, on November 9, 1999, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project #99-63 (Construction of Sanitary Sewer and Watermain along Sunfish Lake Boulevard) as a non-assessment project; and WHEREAS, on December 7, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99- 12-214A awarding the bid for Sunfish Lake Boulevard sanitary sewer and watermain (Improvement Project #99-63) to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $141,553.50; and WItEREAS, on January 11, 2000, City Council approved Contract Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $7,140.00; and WltEREAS, previous payment has been made for Improvement Project #99-63 to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $119,301.48; and WltEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $19,555.82. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #99-63 in the amount of $19,555.82. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of May 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
