I I I I I I I I I I I I I '1 I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF CHANDRA KREYERTO PART-TIME PUBLIC SAFETY AIDE WHEREAS, Laurie Swadner, part-time Public Safety Aide, informed staffofher need to reduce her hours beginning in June 2000 to attend school full-time; and WltEREAS, Council approved the process to hire a second part-time Public Safety Aide to work with Laurie Swadner; and WltEREAS, the position was posted internally and one letter of interest was received from Chandra Kreyer, volunteer Public Safety Aide; and WHEREAS, Chandra Kreyer met the requirements of the position and was recommended by staff for part-time Public Safety Aide. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to hire Chandra Kreyer for the part-time Public Safety Aide. 2) That in her new position as a part-time Public Safety Aide, Ms. Kreyer will be compensated at $11.92 per hour and be required to complete a six month probationary period. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of May 2000.
