Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-05-XXX RESOLUTION OBTAINING THE CONSULTING SERVICES OF LEONARD LEVINE PERTAINING TO SECTION 28 AND RELATED TRANSPORTATION ISSUES WHEREAS, on December 14, 1999, the City Council authorized the execution of an agreement with Leonard Levine to provide consulting services for Trunk Highway #47; and WItEREAS, the contract has been extended for additional services through April 2000; and WHEREAS, Mr. Levine has performed the services contracted for in December 1999, and March/April 2000; and WltEREAS, the City would like to utilize the services of Mr. Levine for an additional period of time; and WHEREAS, an additional fee of $7,000 is requested as compensation for a four-month project; and WltEREAS, funding for the additional contracted services will be paid from a mid-year budget amendment. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the payment of $7,000 to Mr. Leonard Levinc for additional services provided on the Section 28 and related transportation matters. The motion for thc adoption of thc foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and thc following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23Td day of May, 2000.
