The grant program is a <br />$200,000 grant program that can be used by local governments or watershed <br />organizations to develop water related ordinances, complete a function and value <br />assessment of the wetlands in your area, or to complete lake assessments for area lakes. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The grant program has a $20,000 maximum grant award and requires a 50/50 cost-share <br />match. The grantee will receive 90% of the grant award up front and 10% upon <br />completion of the task. <br /> <br />Grants will be awarded until the money is allocated but to increase your chance of <br />receiving a grant, please return the one-page application form by July 5, 2000. Al1 grants <br />received by July 5 will be ranked and awarded based on the grant criteria.
