PUBLIC HEARING/COUNCIL BUSINESS Case #I: Public Hearing of Improvement Water Extension Project #00-27 B & B Carpet Sewer and Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:10 p.m. in order to conduct the public heating. Public Hearing Mayor Gamec called the public heating to order at 7: I 0 p.m. Presentation City Engineer Jankowski explained that B & B Carpet is developing a facility on Highway #10 on the site of the former Lighthouse Bar. The new facility will require sewer and water, which will need to be extended through the Overhead Garage Door property immediately to the south. B & B Carpet and Overhead Garage Door are the only two properties benefiting fi.om this utility extension and both will be signing waivers to the sixty day period commencing at the close of the public hearing, wh/ch allows for petitions against the project. In order to expedite the installation of the utilities to coincide with the completion of B & B building construction, plans and specifications have been prepared. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Connolly and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Hendriksen, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No' None. Absent: None. The public hearing closed at 7:11 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamee called the regular meeting of the City Council back to order at 7:12 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to adopt Resolution 00-05-117 authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications, and the solicitation of bid proposal for Improvement Project #00-27, B & B Carpet Sewer & Water extension.
