Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #00-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sr PARTIAL PAYMENT TO E. H. RENNER & SONS, <br />INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-65 (WELL NO. 5) <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, on February 22, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #00- <br />02-049 approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-03- <br />056 awarding the bid for Well No. 5 project to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the mount of <br />$106,665.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended partial payment to E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $25,662.63. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to E. H. Rermer & Sons, Inc. for <br /> Well No. 5 in the amount of $25,662.63 on July 25, 2000. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br /> for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br /> bills for the month of July, 2000. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember__ <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-07- <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
