Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Conunissioner Johnson, seconded by ComaxSssioner Nix't, to recommend that City <br />Council approve the request for rezoning from Reilley Estates Partnership, based on the Findings <br />of Fact. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Commissioner NLxt advised the residents to follow through with the sketch <br />plan and preliminary plat of the property because it may be possible to achieve a modified <br />density, of the property,. Commissioner Dempsey stated that it is difficult to vote against the <br />rezoning because of the Comprehensive Plan indicating the property ms R-1 Urban Residential, <br />but noted that the development will probably be close to the compromise plan that was presented <br />to the developer by the residents because of the City Charter Amendment. Chairperson <br />Anderson stated that he questions the action that was taken that included this particular land into <br />the M-USA, but the only other choice would be to vote to remove from the land from the MUSA, <br />but does not intend to pursue that and for that reason would vote in favor of the rezoning. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, NLm, Dempsey, <br />Kociscak, and Reeve.
