PC CASE <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE HIRING OF CITY PLANNER <br />Rhonda Heryla, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Following the resignation of Anita Rasmussen in June, staff began the process to hire a <br />new City Planner to join the Community Development Department. The position was <br />advertised and eleven applications were received. Applications were reviewed and seven <br />candidates were contacted for interviews. Two candidates declined interviews as they <br />had accepted positions in the meantime.
