Voting No: none <br /> <br />stnd <br />Case #5.3 Consider Change Order of IP08-34 151 Avenue, 152 Avenue and Fluorine <br />Street Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Himmer explained the quantity of soil removed from the site exceeded the bid <br />quantity and the contractor submitted a request for a change order. <br /> <br />Chairperson McGlone asked who is responsible for this Change Order request. <br /> <br />City Engineer Himmer responded it was an engineering error. <br /> <br />Chairperson McGlone asked if we have a policy for when an error occurs and protect the <br />homeowner for additional assessment <br /> <br />Vice Chair Elvig responded when we have an estimated project we are bond to a new public <br />hearing when that the feasibility study comes back more than 10% or more than what the <br />estimate was we have to start the process all over again. <br /> <br />Staff responded that this does not exceed the 110% of the cost. <br /> <br />Motion by Vice Chair Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Tossey to recommend City Council <br />stnd <br />approve Change Order No. 1 for I.P. 151 Avenue, 152 Avenue and Fluorine Street in the <br />amount of $39,063.75. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: None <br /> <br /> <br />Case #5.4 Consider Priority Streetlighting along County Road 116 (Bunker Lake <br /> Boulevard) <br /> <br /> <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report and recommend moving forward with proposal <br />for lights at Town Center Drive and Bunker Lave Boulevard and Zeolite Street and Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard at a cost of $7,600. <br /> <br />Consensus is to wait until the ground thaws for installation.
