Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated May 9, 2000 <br />2) City CounciI work session meeting mMutes dated May 23, 2000 <br />3) City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated May 23, 2000 <br />4) City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated June 13, 2000 <br />5) City Council work session meeting minutes dated June 29, 2000 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HE~'GS/CO~LMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone certain Property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 <br />Urban Residential; Case of Reilley Estates Partnership, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:22 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the continuance of the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson .~nderson called the public heming back to order at 7:22 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the Reilley Estates Partnership is requesting <br />a rezordng of property proposed to be platted into single family re'ban residential lots. The <br />property is approximately 75 acres in size. The Comprehensive Plan amendment initiated by <br />R. amsey in 1993 and approved by the Met Co ,t.mcil in 1995 placed the subject property in the <br />Metropolitan Urban Service A_rea Of-USA) for residential development with urban se~ices. The <br />adjacent parcels to the north, east and west and on the south side of 153~ Avenue NW are also in <br />the NfUSA and zoned rural, residential. The surrounding propert/es were developed pr/or to <br />being included in the MUSA and consist of the larger, fatal lots served by on-site well and <br />septic. The currem Comprehensive Plan targets th.is area for residential development with urban <br />ser¢ices. The applicant has provided a generaI development ptan documenting their intent to <br />develop the property with single family urban lots.
