W. However, <br />this parcel has no direct access to Riverdale Drive N.W. and therefore the sewer and <br />water that provides this service to this lot is on property which is owned by the City of <br />Ramsey. This triangular parcel w~ks acquired when the rig/at-of-way for Riverdale Drive <br />N.W was obtained. In order to clear up the title we have been asked to quit claim this <br />property to Lot 9. <br /> <br />The City Attorney indicates that we have had a similar request to several lots to the west. <br />The cross-hatched parcel listed, as pin 43 was quit claimed to the lot lying to it north <br />several years ago. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the remnant parcel, defined by the extension of the easterly and the <br />westerly boundary of Lot 9, be quit claimed to Lot 9 with the provision that said lot <br />a~ees to ~ant any right-of-way or easement requested by the City along the frontage of <br />Riverdale Drive N.W at no cost. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Mot/on to adopt staff's recommendation and direct City Attorney to prepare the <br />necessary legal documents and Ordinance facilitating the quit claim land transfer subject <br />to appropriate conditions as determined by Council <br /> <br />Review by: <br />City Attorney <br />City Administrator <br />Public Works Director <br /> <br />CC 08/22/00 <br /> <br />C:~vly Documents\cc 08.22.00.doc <br /> <br />-269- <br /> <br /> <br />
