Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -01 -013 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO ,AMERICAN LIBERTY <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR IP 08 -22 SUNFISH LAKE PARK <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above referenced work on January 9, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP 08 - 22, Sunfish Lake Park, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to law on March 11; 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $31,730.53. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $67,775.15. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $80,383.77. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $73,296.02. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $1,694.91. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends final payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $13,414.76. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to American Liberty Construction <br />for Improvement Project 08 -22, Sunfish Lake Park in the amount of $13,414.76. <br />RESOLUTION #11 -01 -013 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
