Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #10 -10 -238 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LANDMARK CONCRETE INC. FOR IP 10 -28, 150 LANE SIDEWALK INSTALLATION WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications, the solicitation of quotes, and construction of a sidewalk along the north side of 150 Lane from Nowthen Boulevard to connect with the existing sidewalks within the MEADOWS subdivision along Helium Street on February 9, 2010; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the solicitation of quotes for IP 10 -28, 150 Lane Sidewalk Installation, proposals were received, opened, tabulated, and a project awarded according to law on August 9, 2010; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Landmark Concrete Inc. in the amount of $41,946.30. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Landmark Concrete Inc. for IP 10 -28, 150 Lane Sidewalk Installation in the amount of $41,946.30. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 26, 2010. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
