Commissioner Ramsey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NOT TO WAIVE STATUATORY TORT LIMITS FOR LMCIT LIABILITY <br />COVERAGE <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the impacts of waiving and not - waiving statutory tort limits for <br />liability insurance with the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust; and <br />WHEREAS, the HRA has determined it is in the best interest of the City to not waive the statutory <br />tort limits for liability insurance with LMCIT. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the HRA of the City of Ramsey does not waive the statutory tort limits for LMCIT liability <br />coverage. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Elvig and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Chairperson Jeffrey <br />Commissioner Ramsey <br />Commissioner Elvig <br />Commissioner Backous <br />Commissioner Tossey <br />Commissioner Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Commissioner McGlone <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed an a'. e• ' :msey HRA this the 11` day of <br />January, 2011. <br />Direct <br />ATTEST. <br />HRA Ex <br />r Heidi A.
