Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11-03-XXX <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 11-01 THE SEALCOATING OF STREETS IN RIVERS <br />BEND 3RD & 4TH <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted March 8, 2011, a <br />feasibility study for the 2011 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Tim Himmer, <br />City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project 11-01 the sealcoating of streets in River's <br />Bend 3rd & 4th including the streets more specifically described below: and, <br />River's Bend 3rd <br />Rivers Bend 4th <br />Rivers Bend 4th <br />143rd Ave. <br />143rd Lane <br />Xkimo Crt. <br />Xkimo St. /End CDS <br />Xkimo St. / CDS <br />Xkimo St. / CDS <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$8,156. <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 12th day of <br />April, 2011 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 8rh day of March 2011. <br />RESOLUTION #11-03-XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
