Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -01 -009 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting Council declare Vehicle #629 1999 Ford F350 4 x 4 <br />w /plow (VIN 2FDXF47S9XEB33361) and Vehicle #631 1999 Ford F450 4 x 4 w /plow (VIN <br />1FDXF47S6XEE77889) as surplus property and authorize the sale of them at the Minneapolis <br />Auto Auction; and <br />2010. <br />WHEREAS, these vehicles have been replaced with similar vehicles in budget year <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby declares Vehicle #629 and Vehicle #631, as surplus <br />property and authorizes the sale of them at the Minneapolis Auto Auction. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Backous, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 1 1 day of January 2011. <br />
