Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #11 -01 -029 RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISED 2011 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NON -UNION EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, a resolution regarding non -union contributions was approved on December 14, 2010; and WHEREAS, at that time the city was in the process of strategic negotiations with the unions; and WHEREAS, in an effort to be consistent among all employee groups, non -union employees have historically received the same contributions as unionized employees; and WHEREAS, the figures below maintain that consistence; and WHEREAS, the city's health insurance contributions have been included in the 2011 General Fund Budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to authorize the following revised monthly health insurance contributions for non -union employees.
