Community Development Director Frolik explained that Mr. Sigler would be allowed up to 14 <br />horses on his property. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wivoda replied that from his personnel experience he would prefer to live next to <br />a farm with cows rather than horses because of the smell. He also noted that he went out to the <br />property and did not notice any odor fi.om the animals and that the site was maintained Well. <br /> <br />The Commissioners reviewed the proposed Findings of Fact and the following changes were <br />made: <br /> <br />· The word "properly" should be removed fi.om item #1. <br />· Item #2 should be changed to read "That the applicants did not appear...". <br />· Items # 13, 14, 15, 1 ¢, 18 and 19 should read "will not". <br />· Item #17 should read "will". <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Corn_missioner Wivoda, to recommend adoption <br />of Findings of Fact relating to Jeffrey Sigler's request for a conditional use permit for three cows <br />and two sheep. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, WNoda, <br />Dempsey and, Kociscak. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Nixt. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, recommend approval of <br />Jeffrey Sigler's request for a conditional use permit to maintain two cows at 17151 Baugh Street <br />NW, based on the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Chairperson Anderson requested that item #5 be changed to read "...two or <br />more additional horses are brought...". Motion was amended to include the change to item #5. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, Wivoda, <br />Dempsey, and Kociscak. Voting No: None.
