West cabinet are within the easement or in the way of the project· City Engineer Jankowsld replied that they are located with{~e path of the pavement so they do need to be moved. The position of U.S. West is that';.'~'~_.need to h~?the same easement as prior to the project. Director of Pulfli'c Works Kapler inquired if the Committee would support signing an agreement to get work go~k without a dollar figure being attached to allow for further clarification. _Consensus of th& Committee was to direct the City Attorney to contact the utility companies and "-::J:explain that :~.~'~ City Council is upset with the charges and because of those expenses they will iiedd to. draft an ordinance similar to Andover to cover the costs.
