Funding <br /> <br />Trail Development fees <br />(As of July 1, 2000) <br /> <br />$41,850.00 <br /> <br />Mallard Ponds Park Dedication <br /> <br />$5,490.00 <br /> <br /> Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos explained that by combining all o(.~e .... trail fees <br /> $5,490.00 in Mallard Ponds park dedication, the City will be able~41~.~ete C~'~a half mile <br /> trail in the urban area - the east portion of which has been a high~° a number of <br /> years. <br /> It was noted that a separate estimate of $67,000 for the tr~:;:dbnstmctio~ .just east of Trunk <br /> Highway #47 (Segment C) was received earlier this year,~ erf°rm~g a significant amount <br /> labor with City Staff vs. contracting, the City may b.e.~ o pave th~ke .6 mile of trail for <br /> less than the estimate for the eastern 1,029 feet. Sta~i~'~f~e the existing <br /> trail fees as well as $5,490 (or less than 5%) of Mallard n contr/bution to <br /> complete this important project. Since 1992, about 7% of' cost has been sCheduled <br /> for landscaping. Staff also proposed tree establishment with project~,. These would <br /> primarily be adjacent to County Road #116 and the new path Park. By <br /> establishing a $2,660 tree budge~,.,~!'TtOtat.~project cost equates Based upon <br /> discussions with Mr. Chris Bulo~,::~e~ei~'.fSrMallard Ponds, st the trail project <br /> could be completed by the t/~:::~ol~ Senio~~ ~! opens school year.
