I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-11- RESOLUTION APPROVING 2N° PARTIAL PAYMENT TO VOLK SEWER & WATER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00-27 (B & B CARPET SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on May 9, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #00-05-117 approving the plans and specifications and advertisement for bids for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on June 13, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-06-147 awarding the bid for B & B Carpet Sewer and Water Extension project Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. 'in the amount of $57,155.50; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to Volk Sewer & Water, Inc. in the amount of $6,055.06. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Volk Sewer & water, Inc. for B & B Carpet Sewer and Water Extension project in the amount of $6,055.06 on November 14, 2000. 2) 3) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of November, 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
