Section 9.15.03, Towers in Residential Zoning Districts, has been modified to restrict <br />commercial towers to Residential parcels at least 10 acres in size that are located in an area to be <br />designated as the tower overlay district on the official Zoning Map, and all other park, church, <br />government, school, utility, and institutional sites at least 10 acres in size. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.05.2.a, Use of City Owned Land for Wireless Telecommunications Antennas and <br />Towers, has been modified to require park sites to be at least 10 acres in size in order to qualify <br />as a site for a commercial tower. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.05, a and b, Co-Location Requirements, has been modified to increase the search <br />radius from ½ mile to 1 mile and require all towers to accommodate at least two additional users, <br />regardless of the propoSed height. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.08, Tower Setbacks, has been modified to include language requiring a tower <br />setback from residential dwellings equal to 1.5 times the tower height. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.09, Tower Height, has been modified to increase the height, limit on towers in <br />Residential districts from 75 to 120 feet and eliminate language allowing for additional height to <br />accommodate a second user because a design to accommodate 2 additional users will now be <br />required per the amendments to 9.15.05. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.14, Antennas on Roofs, Walls and Existing Towers has been modified to include <br />existing structures. <br /> <br />Section 9.15.17, Antennas Designed for Private Reception of Television. and Radio Signals, has <br />been modified to increase the priVate antenna height exemption from 50 feet to 60 feet. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
