Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-11- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO KUECHLE UNDERGROUND, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-21 (SECTION 28 SEWER AND WATER EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-10-245 authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on November 10, 1998, City Council adopted Resolution #98-11-273 awarding the bid for the above-referenced work to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of '$340,778.65; and WHEREAS, three Change Orders have been submitted for additional construction signing and asphalt milling amounting to $15,795.90; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. in the amount of $5,218.98. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY oF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes f'mal payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. for the Section 28 Sewer and Water Extension (Improvement .Project #98-21) in the amount of $5,218.98. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of November 2000. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor'thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained:
