I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-12-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4th PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ANDERSON <br />MECHANICAL, INC FOR MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION ON FIRE STATION #2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 11, 2000, Council authorized staff to request bids on the Fire <br />Station #2 building project pertaining to General Contractor, Mechanical and Electrical; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 29, bids were opened for the General Contractor, Electrical <br />and Mechanical sections of the Fire Station #2 project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 14, 2000, Resolution #00-03-065, #00-03-066, and #00~03-067, <br />Council awarded bids for the project to Ebert Ine as General Contractor in the amount of <br />$I,177,000, Anderson Mechanical in the amount of $212,513 and Vander Vegt Electric, Inc in <br />the amount of $128,815 and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Fire Chief/Public Works Director, Dean Kapler, has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends partial payment to Anderson Mechanical in the amount of <br />$27,259.30. <br /> <br />NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Vander Vegt Elect~5c, Inc. for <br />said project in the amount of $27,259.30. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts this portion of the projeCt and authorizes the Mayor <br />or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of December, 2000. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and tile following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and tile following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />-131- <br /> <br /> <br />
