Case #4: <br /> <br />Award Coutract for Improvement Project #99-51,153r'~ Avenue NW/155"~ <br />Avenue NW Extension <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that this case was tabled at the September 26, 2000 meeting, as <br />the City had not commenced a quick take eminent domain proceeding. Staff has prepared the <br />necessary documents for the court, but staff was made aware that the Council had not passed a <br />resolution attthorizing condemnation by eminent domain, which needs to be part of the court <br />submittals. If the resolution is passed then staff could deposit the funds by the end of the week <br />and the City would have title to the property in early December. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zinmmrman, seconded by Councilmernber Co,molly, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-10-266 authorizing acquisition of property for the construction of public <br />improvement project #99-51 (153~ Avenue NW/155"~ Avenue NW Extension). <br /> <br />'Motion canded. Voting Yes: .Mayor. Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Cormolly, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councihnember Hendriksen inquired as to when the bids will expire for the project. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied 60 days fi'om the day of the bid. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmennan replied that staff could request an extension. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilmember Cormolly, seconded by Cotmcilmember Hendriksen, to table <br />awarding of bids for Improvement Project #99-51. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Hendriksen, An~del'son, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Review and Authorize Staffto Accept Bids for Interior Finishing Work and <br /> Tuckpointing the Old Town Hall <br /> <br />Item was tabled. <br /> <br />Case #6: - Appoint Data Practices Compliance Official for the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />-22- <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Moore-Sykes stated that during the 2000 session, the Mirmesota <br />Legislature made several revisions to the Government Data Practices Act, Milmesota .Statues, <br />Chapter 13.
