-30- <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos.replied no. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired as to what the price difference was between resident and non- <br />resident fees. - <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that he was not sure, but could get the infom~ation for the <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that from what he understands the pool is very profitable. He stated that he <br />would agree to entering into an ageement with the City of Anoka for one year, but thinks there <br />should be some discussions between the two cities fo discuss the overall benefits that exist for <br />the residents of both cities. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cormolly suggested inclUding a question on the survey that is being sent out to <br />the Ramsey residents regarding the community center to determine if there is an interest for the <br />City to continue providing funding to the Anoka pool. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted that the City of Anoka's Aquatic Center Manager offered <br />to make a presentation if the Committee so desired. <br /> <br />Councilmember Corn-tolly inquired if the Park Commission's feeling was that the City is only <br />providing SOlnething for a small portion of children in Ramsey and for that reason would prefer <br />to keep the money in the City and provide more opportunities within the City. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that the Park Commission felt that the money would <br />better serve the residents of.Ramsey if it was used to develop a similar use in the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Conncihnember Anderson Stated that staff should clarify the figures with the City of Anoka to <br />make sure they are understanding them correctly.
