Based on the panel's recommendation, <br />Patrick Trudgeon was offered a position as a Principal Plam~er with the City of Ramsey. Mr. <br />Trudgeon's starting salm3' is $55,735 and the offer is contingent on background checks and an <br />employment physical and drug screen. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmennan. <br /> <br />2) Purchase of Benelli Shotgun <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-11-295 authorizing the purchase of a Benelli shotgun fi'om the Peace Officer's <br />Special Revenue Drug Forfeiture Fund in the amount of $1,275. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmen'nan. <br /> <br />3) Purchase of Speed Radar Trailer <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmernber Amderson, seconded by Councih-nember Hendriksen, to authorize the <br />purchase of Smart Model I "Demo" Radar Trailer and accessories fi'om Kustom Signal, Inc. for a <br />grand total of $10,058.93 from the Police Other Equipment Capital Account and authorize the <br />purchase of the statistical computer for the radar trailer at a demo cost of $2,875.50. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
