Withdrawal does not entitle the can( <br />a refund of the filing fee. <br /> <br />City primaries <br /> <br />Any city may establish a city primary if the council adopts an <br />ordinance or resolution at least six weeks before the next city <br />general election, unless a city charter provides otherwise. <br /> <br />Once the city adopts a primary, it stays in effect for all ensuing <br />elections until revoked by the council.
