CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF tL43VlSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, January 28, 1999, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Kenneth Peterson <br />Commissioner Susan Anderson <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Dennis Donovan <br />Keith Keifer <br />Judy Mare <br />Timothy Vogt <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Richard Netzloff <br />Virginia Spain-Brist <br />Jay Swokowski <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Peterson called the regular Charter meeting to order at 8:02 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />APPROVE MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kiefer and seconded by Commissioner Anderson to approve the <br />Charter Commission meeting minutes dated June 15, 1998, amending the fourth paragraph on <br />page 4 to read "Mr. Goodrich stated that some people are saying that the Council is violating the <br />Charter because they have not taken a vote (four-fifths) to do anything yet." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Peterson, commissioners Kiefer, AndersOn, Donovan, <br />Marn, and Vogt. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Netzloff, Spain-Brist, and <br />Swokowski. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kiefer and seconded by Commissioner Donovan to approve the <br />Charter Commission meeting minutes dated November 19, 1998, as presented. <br /> <br />Charter Commission/January 28, 1999 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />-27- <br /> <br /> <br />
