Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, Anderson, and Connolly. Voting No: None. Case #8: City Council Schedule for December 1999 City Administrator Norman stated that typically, the City Council has not held the regularly scheduled second meeting in December. If the Council would chose to do so again, staff would post s~ch notice. Regardless of whether Council has a second meeting in December, or elects not to, staff requested that Council designate a Councilmember to come into City Hall on the afternoon or evening of December 30, 1999, to review bills so they can be paid prior to year-end, which has been practice the past few years. Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to cancel the second regularly scheduled meeting in December and hold a special meeting on December 21, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. or immediately following the Public Works Committee meeting and direct Staffto post such notice at City Hail. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Garflec, Councilmembers Connolly, Hendriksen, Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to designate Councilmember Zimmern~an to come into City Hall on December 30, 1999, to review all approved bills for Payment prior to year-end. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamee, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Connolly, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #9: Report from Personnel Committee 1) Consider Extension of Probationary Period of Public Works Employee Swanson Brian Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adopt Resolution #99-12~ 226 extending the probationary period for 90 days for public works maintenance worker Brian Swanson.
