CASE <br /> <br />RECOMMEND PARK DEDICATION AND TRAIL FEE RATES FOR 2001 <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Each year City Council amends as necessary the various City rates.and charges by resolution. <br />This usually occurs in December, for the following year. <br /> <br />Observation: <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to inform the Commission of the proposed rate changes for the <br />residential Park Dedication (cash) and the Trail Fee (which only applies to residential <br />development). City Council is expected to approve an 8% increase over year 2000 rates. The <br />following depicts that effect: <br /> <br />2000 .: 2001 Proposed <br />Park Dedication $1,200 $1,300 (1200 x .083%) <br />Trail Fee $ 300 $ 325 (300x.083%) <br /> <br />No other changes were proposed to Park dedication rates. City Council is expected to act on the <br />above matter on Tuesday, December 12, 2000.
