Councilmcmber moved for the adoption of the following findings of fact: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-01- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE <br />COMMUNICATION SERVICE (PCS) TOWER <br /> <br />FACT # RELATING TO A <br />PERMIT FOR A PERSONAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, U.S. West Wireless, L.L.C., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to construct, install and operate a personal <br />communications system (pcs) on the property generally known as 17515 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br />and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Gobematz 2na Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota: <br /> <br />(the" S ubj ect Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on January 4, 2000, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is approximately 30 acres in size and is owned by John and Avis <br /> Gobernatz. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are in the Rural Service area and restricted <br /> to a development density of 4 units in 4 acres. <br /> <br />5. That the Subject Property is bounded by T.H. #47 on the west. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is proposing to lease a 30' x 30' section of the Subject Property (Site) to <br /> facilitate the development of the tower. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 180 foot monopole. <br /> <br />8. That the equipment cabinets (5' tall by 3' deep by 6' wide) will be adjacent to the monopole <br /> on the south side in a 10' x 12' area. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant is not proposing to install a security fence or landscaping at the based of <br /> the tower. <br /> <br /> <br />
