Monthly Status Report

Frolik/ 9/21/99 During the discussion of vacating certain drainage and utility
Pending easements in Northfork Oaks 2na Addition - Burnham -
Councilmember Anderson stated that she is concerned over legal
issues, and the fact that a lot combination could be done without
the involvement of the City. Councilmember Hendriksen noted
that the City does have a subdivision ordinance that 9would not
allow a lot split to be done without the involvement of the City.
Councilmember Zimmerrnan suggested requiring Council
approval for any lot combination in the future. Consensus was to
have the Planning Commission review this issue.

Frolik/ 10/12/99 Council granted site plan approval to the proposal for the
Complete expansion of Heritage Millwork contingent upon compliance with
the City Staff letter dated September 28, 1999.
Frolik/ 10/12/99 Council granted site plan approval to the proposal for Monarch
Complete Homes contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Letter
dated September 28, 1999, and the recommendation of the
Planning C0i:nmission on October 5, 1999, in regards to the brick,
and that Monarch Homes works with staff on appropriate
screening vegetation. Execute Development Agreement.
Frolik/ 10/12/99 Discussion of CDBG Funds: Councilmember Connolly inquired
Pending if they could use a portion of the funds on the Comp Plan. You
replied that you would have to verify the information because a
city is only allowed to use 20% of CDBG funds for planning.
Councilmember Hendriksen stated that the City has purchased a
piece of property at a significant cost and sold to ACCAP at a
significantly lower cost. He inquired if it would be possible to
allocate the funds to reduce the cost of the City for acquisition of
the site. You replied that you would have to verify that
information. Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he wants to
know if it is viable to use the funds to cover the cost the City has
already occurred in acquiring the property for ACCAP. He
inquired if the money has already been paid out for the property.
Mr. Goodrich replied yes and Councilmember Hendriksen asked
if that possibility be reviewed. Mayor Gamec requested that staff
review other options as well as the land acquisition for ACCAP,
and what percent can be applied to the Comp Plan.

,fi/
