to the Planning Commission for study of the ordinance language and allowing towers on <br />residentially zoned property. The Planning Commission is being asked to review the current <br />tower ordinance, especially in regard to towers in residential areas, and then re-review the request <br />by US West for a conditional use permit to construct an 180-foot telecommunication tower. <br /> <br />Subsequent to the January 25, 2000 City Council meeting the applicant has amended their <br />proposed site plan as to insure that the proposed monopole tower is indeed in Mr. Gobernatz <br />backyard, as required by City Code in a residentially zoned district.
