Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00-06- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #06__ RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THREE (3) COWS AND TWO (2) <br />SHEEP ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 17151 BAUGH STREET NW; <br /> <br /> YVHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Jeffrey Sigler for a <br />conditional use permit to maintain three (3) cows and two (2) sheep on the property generally <br />known as 17151 Baugh Street NW. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter, Section 7, Township 32, Range <br />25, lying southwesterly of southwesterly right of way line of Anoka County Highway plat <br />number 33 and lying southerly, the southerly north half of side quarter quarter, except <br />road subject to easement of record. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS '~ITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on May 16, 2000, Jeffrey Sigler, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly applied <br />for a conditional use permit to maintain a maximum of three (3) cows and two (2) sheep on <br />the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That the applicants appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on June 6, 2000, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That <br />must <br />three <br /> <br />Section 5.09.01 (Keeping of Certain Animals, Livestock and Poultry) states a person <br />apply for a conditional use permit to maintain two (2) cows, pigs, or goats on parcel's <br />(3) to than twenty (20) acres in size. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is zoned R-I(R) Single Family Rural Residential. <br /> <br />5. That all adjacent properties are also zoned R-I(R) Single Family Rural Residential; <br /> <br />6. That the Subject Property is approximately 10.27 acres in size. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is proposing to maintain three (3) cows and two (2) sheep on the Subject <br /> Property. <br /> <br />8. That the Applicant currently has five (5) horses on the property and this is a legal use in <br /> accordance with Section 5.09.05 of Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />9. That there is a 1,200 square foot barn and a 5,100 square foot riding arena on the subject <br /> property to house the farm animals. <br /> <br /> <br />
