t Metropolitan Council <br />Part II: Emergency <br />response <br />procedures <br />Part II of the water supply form requires the preparation of a water <br />emergency plan that contains the following information: <br />• Contacts for emergency situations, <br />• Emergency response procedures, <br />• Current water sources and service areas, <br />• Procedures for augmenting water supplies such as <br />interconnections with public and private systems that can <br />provide water in an emergency, <br />• Allocation and priority of water supply for emergencies and <br />periods of gradual water supply decrease, <br />• Procedures for reducing demand, <br />• Enforcement of water use restrictions, and <br />• A detailed list of requirements for Part II may be found on <br />page 94 -97 of the Water Resources Management Policy Plan. <br />Part III: Conservation Part III of the water supply form requires a water conservation plan <br />plan that contains conservation goals that measure unaccounted for water <br />use, residential per capita demand, total per capita demand, and <br />peak demand. <br />The conservation plan should also include programs aimed at <br />conserving water or reducing demand.
