Regular Planning Commission Item #: 6. 3. <br />Date: 04/07/2011 <br />By: Tim Gladhill <br />Community Development <br />Title: <br />Presentation of the Basics of Planning and Zoning <br />Background: <br />With the appointment of three (3) new Planning Commissioners /Board of Adjustment members, Staff has prepared <br />a workshop discussion on the basics of planning and zoning to bring new members up to speed and provide a <br />refresher course for existing members. <br />The workshop will follow the traditional flow of long -range planning beginning with Comprehensive Plan basics, <br />Zoning Code and Map implementation, and administering /reviewing land use applications.
