I I I ! I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-01- RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-22 OVATERMAIN LOOPING) WHEREAS, on August 25, 1998, the Ramsey City Council approved this project; and WHEREAS, on October 27, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98~10- 262 awarding the bid for watermain looping in the City of Ramsey (Improvement Project #98- 22) to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $115,510.85; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $90,857.12; and WHEREAS, on December 30, 1998, Mayor Thomas G. Gamec authorized payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $90,857.12 to be included in the year-end accounts payable for 1998. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby recognizes Mayor Gamec's authority approving partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for watermain looping in the City of Ramsey (Improvement Project #98-22) in the amount of $90,857.12. 2) That the total amount of this payment was included in Resolution #99-01- approving payment of accounts payable invoicing received during the period of December 5, 1998 through December 30, 1998. 3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department receive a signed copy of this resolution.
