Economic Development Authority recommendations: <br /> <br />1. CONDEMNATION <br /> <br />The Economic Development Authority recommended unanimously' that City Staff <br />schedule a meeting with BMA Associates, City Staff and two (non-City Council) <br />Economic Development Authority members to pursue negotiating a mutually <br />acceptable purchase price, and the City Council direct the City Attorney to <br />proceed with condemnation if negotiations fail in the acquisition of the 149.11- <br />acre industrial property located west of Ramsey Boulevard and north of Highway <br />#10. <br /> <br />2. ACCAP <br /> <br />The Economic Development Authority recommended unanimously that City <br />Council agree to provide a tax increment financing district with the intent of <br />financing a housing development with ACCAP of up to forty housing units on a <br />site to be approved by the City and subject to the successful completion of the <br />City review process and securing Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the <br />Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a TIF district life of up to 20 years. <br /> <br /> <br />
