Case #5: Adopt Resolution to Change Name of Road and Bridge Committee to Public Works Committee Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that, despite its name, the Road and Bridge Committee reviews and recommends Council action on items involving all types of public works projects and policies. Designation as the Public Works Committee would more appropriately reflect the actual resr)onsibilities of the Road and Bridge Committee. She presented a resolution changing the name. Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend Council adopt the resolution changing the name of the Road and Bridge Committee to the Public Works Committee, effective November 24, 1998. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Beyer. Voting No: None. Case #6: Receive and Consider Policy for Use of Computers/Internet/E-Mail Administrative Intern Petrangelo reported that the City will soon have access to the Internet. To avoid misuse of this new resource, staff is suggesting a policy outlining expectations before the service is actually available. She presented such policy. Motion by Mayor Garnet and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend Council adopt the City of Ramsey Computer/Internet/E-mail Usage Policy. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Beyer. Voting No: None. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Mayor Gamec to adjourn the meeting.
