Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -03 -079 <br />TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD NW, FROM ARMSTRONG <br />BOULEVARD NW (CSAH 83) TO PUMA STREET NW, IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA FOR STATE AID PROJECT 199 - 121 - 001 (IP 11 - 21) <br />WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey and Anoka County have planned the improvements of <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, State Aid Route No. 199 - 121 -001 from Armstrong Boulevard NW <br />(CSAH 83) to Puma Street NW in the City of Ramsey, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey and Anoka County will be expending State Aid Funds on <br />the improvements of these streets; and <br />WHEREAS, these improvements do not provide adequate width for parking on both sides <br />of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must <br />therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard NW, State Aid Route No. 199- 121 -001 from Armstrong Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to <br />Puma Street NW at all times. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Tossey upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the following abstained: <br />none <br />RESOLUTION #11 -03 -079 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
